If you know me well, then you know I might be a bit of chocolate fan! I’m that much of a fan that I really need to start making my own chocolate.
Over the years I’ve played with a few recipes, but this combo is by far my fave. Coconut with a touch of sea salt for the win! Hope you like it as much as I do.
Ingredients
1/2 Cup Cacao butter
1/2 Cup Cacao powder
1/3 Cup of Rice malt syrup
1/4 Cup of Shredded coconut
A Pinch of Sea salt
Melt cacao butter, you can do this by placing the cacao butter into a glass jar and sitting it in hot water. Grab a small β medium sized baking tray and line with baking paper. Combine cacao powder, coconut and salt into a bowl. Add in rice malt syrup and mix ingredients. Once cacao butter has melted add to the same bowl as the above ingredients. Mix ingredients thoroughly. Pour mixture into the lined baking tray and spread out evenly. Allow 30 minutes for the chocolate to set in the freezer. Chocolate can remain stored in the freezer or in the fridge. ENJOY!
Time required 10 minutes (not including melt and freezing time). Makes approximately 270 grams.
