Oh hello there my friends, how are you all? It’s been a little while…. I hope all is well in your world!
Things have been pretty crazy and have changed quite a bit in my world. As you may know from my last post, I was about to move back to New Zealand (my homeland) but to a new area. Well the Husband, furbabies and I are all moved over and settled, we are enjoying being back in New Zealand and are ready to face all the exciting challenges that lay ahead.
My first big challenge is about to start in the next week…. Uni!!! Yes I have been hanging out for this challenge for a while now and I can’t wait to get started. My dream of studying Human Nutrition and following my passion is about to begin! I will be going into study only part-time for now to see how I manage the work load and because of another little exciting factor that will be arriving this year…
I had a bit of a surprise towards the end of last year, which some of you may be aware of. The Husband and I are very lucky to be expecting a little one, which is due towards the end of July/ beginning of August. I must admit I was very overwhelmed with all the change and pregnancy hadn’t been too kind to me (I hope to go more into that in my next post). I am currently in week 17 and I am starting to feel a bit more normal and human again.
I believe it is a positive sign that my body is ready. Although I have spent a few years fighting for my health with ME/CFS and I was initially pretty concerned that my body wasn’t quite ready, I trust the timing of it all. I am excited and ready for this new journey that I’m about to embark on.
Thankfully that is enough change and excitement for me for now! I’m glad to be settled in my new surroundings and am looking forward to embracing the challenges that lie ahead for the year.
I hope this year ahead brings you lots of exciting new challenges and excitement, sending lots of love!
