I’ve never really eaten persimmons, so I thought I would be adventurous and introduce one into a smoothie! I definitely love the flavours in this smoothie, it’s creamy and delicious.
Ingredients
1 Persimmon
1 Banana
½ Cup of frozen Strawberries
½ Cup of frozen Blueberries
2 Scoops of Amazonia raw protein (pea protein)
1½ Cup of Coconut milk
1 tsp of Coconut nectar
Garnish with coconut chips and a frozen strawberry.
Peel and chop banana and persimmon into small pieces. Combine persimmon and banana into the blender with the rest of the ingredients. Blend until smooth, pour smoothie into glasses. Garnish by sprinkling coconut chips on top of smoothie and place a frozen strawberry on top. Enjoy!
Serves 2, time required 10 minutes.
I’ve never eaten perisimmons either, but now I want to. This smoothie looks so delicious!
