A delicious chocolate treat that is healthy. Filled with nutritious nuts, super-foods and is gluten free. Hard to believe that it’s healthy!
Ingredients
1/2 Cup of Coconut Oil
1/2 Cup of Almonds (raw or roasted)
1/2 Cup of Cashews (raw or roasted)
1/3 Cup of Shredded Coconut
1/4 Cup of Quinoa Flakes
1/4 Cup of Coconut Nectar
1/4 Cup of Cacao Powder
1/4 Cup of Pumpkin Kernels
2 Tbsp of Chia Seeds
Line a baking dish with baking paper. Combine almonds, cashews, coconut, quinoa flakes, coconut nectar, cacao powder, pumpkin kernels and chia seeds into a bowl. Melt coconut oil and pour into the bowl with the rest of the ingredients. Stir mixture until mixed. Pour mixture into the baking tray and spread evenly. Place baking dish into the fridge and leave in there to set for approximately half an hour or until set. Slice into small pieces when ready to eat. Keep stored in the fridge. Enjoy!
Serves approximately 10 pieces, time required 40 minutes.
